1983 GMC K1500 Custom Pickup

This custom 1983 GMC K1500 stepside four-wheel-drive pickup is powered by a custom 5.3-liter LS V-8 engine with a mild cam, paired with a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. This custom Desert Fox re-creation features a new Avenge Industries full-frame chassis with QuadraLink rear suspension and independent front suspension. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. The truck rides on brand-new 37x12.5/17 Toyo Open Country tires mounted on Fuel wheels. The exterior retains its original sheet metal with no aftermarket replacement panels and was painted off frame in basecoat/clearcoat with no bodywork performed. The engine compartment, transmission and transfer case were also painted to match the body. Exterior features include KC lights mounted on a custom crash bar, power steps and a new bed. All glass is original except for the windshield. The interior retains its original dash and features new Dakota Digital gauges with a red display, a two-knob stereo with Bluetooth connectivity and a new Vintage Air climate-control system. This truck was purchased new in Mesa, Arizona, and has remained in the state since new.
