1983 Jeep CJ-7

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

Introduced for the 1976 model year, the Jeep CJ-7 built upon the success of the CJ-5 with a longer wheelbase, improved drivability, and increased interior space while retaining the rugged off-road capability that made the CJ series iconic. Today, CJ-7 are prized for their timeless design, rugged body-on-frame construction, and broad aftermarket support for customization.

Finished in Sebring Red over a black vinyl interior, this 1983 Jeep CJ-7 is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-four engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. During the seller’s approximately 20 years of ownership, the cosmetics, powertrain, and supporting systems were refreshed, with reported work including a respray, a replacement wiring harness, replacement brake lines, Rhino-lined interior surfaces, chrome bumpers and hardware, and a replacement carburetor.

Additional modifications include chrome steel wheels, a Kenwood CD stereo, bumper-mounted trail lights, and an aftermarket steering wheel. The seller reports that the Jeep has not been registered since 2016.
