GLWA!October 19th, 2023 at 12:16pm EST$4,500 bid placed by @Groesbeck729October 18th, 2023 at 12:57pm ESTacd76 (3) 0@ Seller: Thank you for your replies. I would have assumed the cluster was changed as it was originally a euro-spec car hence would have had to had a cluster with kilometers. Regardless of miles, still looks great. Though I will dispute that "all the 4 tires are like brand new" given they are more than 14 years old. At least a new set is relatively inexpensive less than $400 out the door. October 18th, 2023 at 12:23pm ESTGayatri (3) Seller 0@acd76 records do not indicate that the cluster was changed. Car was registered in New York and later in Massachusetts. I bought it in 2021 , registered in NH and brought it to CA last year October 18th, 2023 at 12:18pm ESTGayatri (3) Seller 0@Gayatri DOT says 2709October 18th, 2023 at 12:18pm ESTGayatri (3) Seller 0@acd76 DOT DOTOctober 18th, 2023 at 8:06am ESTacd76 (3) 0Also, I assume this is not the original instrument cluster as it would have been in kilometers. Do you know when the replacement one was installed, which now says 80K? Thank you.October 18th, 2023 at 8:05am ESTacd76 (3) 0Seller--can you please answer question from Oct 10, what are the date codes on the tires?October 17th, 2023 at 2:25pm EST$4,250 bid placed by @drstensoOctober 16th, 2023 at 8:12pm EST$4,000 bid placed by @IlikebenzOctober 16th, 2023 at 12:16pm EST$3,750 bid placed by @terry55October 15th, 2023 at 6:59pm EST$3,500 bid placed by @IlikebenzOctober 14th, 2023 at 7:45pm EST$3,250 bid placed by @markwilsonOctober 14th, 2023 at 5:57pm ESTGayatri (3) Seller 1@markwilson no issues with the odometer at all . No AC . The red thing is the key chain ribbon . October 14th, 2023 at 5:06pm ESTmarkwilson (0) 0Have you had any issues with the odometer since you’ve owned it? Such incredibly low miles for a 40 year old car. Not doubting just wondering. Also, since it wasn’t mentioned, I assume there is no AC? And what is that red thing on the driver floorboard near the floor mat?October 14th, 2023 at 6:57am ESTJim_Rosenthal (96) 0@TheAMGKit , actually, with the manual gearbox these cars do fine in traffic, you just have to rev them up. The 5 cylinder versions, at least over here, all had automatic transmissions and offered no advantage over the manuals. The turbo 5cyl cars are faster, but you miss the fun of shifting gears. For use in the USA, the fact that this car doesn't seem to have AC IS a negative; retrofitting AC to this car would be a huge headache and make it less original. And with 60 hp, it doesn't have a lot of power to spare for running the AC compressor. So if you live in a temperate part of NA, where they don't salt the roads in winter, where you don't get a lot of hot days, where it's generally dry so you don't need the defrost function, this might be the ideal car for you. I admit I can't readily think of such a place, but perhaps there is one. It's a well-kept car, for a fact. If I needed a car that I knew would last forever and lived in a place like Lisbon or Tokyo - and didn't want to go for an EV - This would be perfectly adequate.October 11th, 2023 at 3:12am ESTTheAMGKit (37) 0I know y'all swoon over these, and Pierre hedary would say the car has horsepower power to spare.....but what in the world was Mercedes thinking whwn they sent out a 60 HP car . I know fuel crisis etc but they still had the m117 5 liter and just finished up the 6.9. Balance out the offerings. Sure sure. Maybe that's fine in today's line up but back 40 yrs ago. No thanksOctober 10th, 2023 at 9:48pm EST$2,500 bid placed by @glass1manOctober 10th, 2023 at 4:51pm ESTGayatri (3) Seller 1@Peabo Hi will check and revert October 10th, 2023 at 3:16pm ESTPeabo (7) 0@Gayatri I’m specifically interested in the age of the tires, not the appearance. Are the brand new? That would be great. But 10 year old tires that look new are dangerous. Thank youOctober 10th, 2023 at 2:09pm ESTGayatri (3) Seller 1@Peabo private party October 10th, 2023 at 2:08pm ESTGayatri (3) Seller 0@Peabo all the 4 tires are like brand new . The spare tire is not used at all October 10th, 2023 at 2:00pm ESTGayatri (3) Seller 0@Peabo I drive it on freeways often . Will touch 85 miles speed in no time . The engine is in pristine condition October 10th, 2023 at 1:19pm ESTPeabo (7) 0@road2W140 Wouldn't that 4L be amazing but, alas, it's only half that and barely enough power to get out of it's own way but still super cool October 10th, 2023 at 12:54pm ESTPeabo (7) 0@Gayatri, Can you tell us the age of the tires? Perhaps the date codes? Thank youOctober 10th, 2023 at 12:49pm ESTPeabo (7) 0@Gayatri Is this a private party transaction or dealer transaction? BTW, this is a very cool carOctober 10th, 2023 at 12:25pm ESTroad2W140 (1) 0There's a mistake in the first paragraph "power comes from a 4.0L 4-cylinder diesel"
