Centers have a serial number and are stamped made in Japan. I read about them in the MB forums and other source and due to the increased demand for AMG wheels in Japan in the 80's and 90's these wheels were built there with high quality alloys and more aggressive fitments and lips than the Germany supplied wheels. They are not the Chinese Performas as the wheels on this car are multi piece with proper hardware. COuld you photo the inside of the one of the wheels for amg oz markings as i do not see any on the outside. I know there is one character in germany who has built very proper 3 piece version replicas without the amg logo, which these may be....as i do not think they are the china made performas. I am torn about the flares because they were such a popular period add on in the early 80's. Add yellow fog lamps to match the headlights and a paint job (I would keep the two tone) in this great 1980's theme. First thing to do is to remove those chrome arches, one of the biggest mistakes of the 80's, IMHO.
