Description
The 911SC carried the Porsche 911's air-cooled, impact-bumper design through the late 1970s and early 1980s, powered by a 3.0-liter flat-six. Marking the final year of the 911SC, or "Super Carrera," this 1983 Coupe is finished in Black over a matching interior. It features front fog lights, an electric sunroof, an air conditioning system, and aftermarket 16” BBS wheels, with the original 16” Fuchs included in the sale. Cared for by one owner and maintained by Manhattan Motorcars, this Porsche 911SC Coupe is now being offered for auction by the selling dealer out of New York.
Finished in Black, this 911SC wears the impact bumpers and rubber trim of the G-body 911, along with rectangular front fog lights, flag-style side mirrors, body-color headlamp rings, an electric sunroof, and dual exhaust outlets. It currently rides on upgraded 16" BBS wheels wrapped in like-new Pirelli tires, while the factory 16" Fuchs wheels will accompany the sale. The seller describes the body as clean and straight with good paint and no dents or dings, noting some touch-ups and that the driver's side door appears to have been repainted. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the cabin is trimmed in Black and features VDO instrumentation, a leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel, power windows, air conditioning, and folding rear seatbacks. The seller states that the leather is in great shape with no rips, and that all electronics and accessories are functioning properly. The odometer shows approximately 55k miles and carries a true-mileage-unknown (TMU) designation, as the seller states the instrument cluster was replaced on two occasions and set to the preceding reading each time; therefore, it is said to be accurate.
