Description 'INCANDESCENTE' as I appropriately named it... Means White Hot in Italian. As part of the flickering flame lit in mostly white as the hot part. I figured it to be fitting.GLCC introduces this Iconic yet Rare as it is not commonly seen 1984 Ferrari 308GTSi Quattrovalvole Konig Specials. Well Appointed with a Konig Widebody, BBS Wheels, and a Whole Lot of 1980s Flair, Style, and Attitude. A true to form Unicorn Car to many Enthusiasts and Ferrari Aficionados. Affectionately called “the 308 QV,” the Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole is an iconic piece of automotive history. With its gorgeous Pininfarina-styled body, best viewed for full breath-taking effect in profile, and a thundering 240-horsepower engine under the hood, the Ferrari 308 QV will catch all the stares. The 308 GTS Quattrovalvole, with a removable targa roof, succeeded the 308 GTSi, and was unveiled at the 1982 Paris Salon concurrently with the 308 GTB Quattrovalvole model. The “Quattrovalvole” part of the model name referred to the four valves per cylinder heads on the engine. Of Course it has Three Pedal 'Magic' meaning Gated Shifted Manual Transmission. Born and bred as a True European Engine'd 308, then equipped as a Left Hand Drive European Market Ferrari, then assembled for World distribution except the US or Asia, All this of course done at the Maranello Plant, and finally enhanced by Konig. Ferrari did not publish official per-color production breakdowns for individual model years like 1984, so the exact number of 308 GTS Quattrovalvole units painted in white (Bianco) for that specific year is unknown. Production Context Total 308 GTS QV Production: Ferrari built a total of 3,042 units of the GTS Quattrovalvole worldwide between 1982 and 1985. Color Rarity: While the vast majority of Ferrari 308s (estimated by registries at roughly 85% to 90%) left the factory in traditional Rosso Corsa red, non-red colors like Bianco (white) were special-order or less common options, making white factory-original cars quite rare today.
