Description
This is, or was, rather, a base model 1984 Ford F150, 4.9L 300 I6, Manual 4 speed Overdrive, 2 Dr, 8’ bed, Style side Pick-up. Truck belonged to my wife when we first met. Didn’t run very well and didn’t look very good. My initial goal was to get it running smoothly and clean it up a little bit. During this time however my wife saw another F150 online painted in the two-tone Lt Regatta Blue with White and she said, “I want it painted like this!” That’s when it became a project car. From the outside, with the two-tone paint, upper and lower bright trim, chrome front bumper with bumper guards (both with rubber impact strips) and full-faced silver-and-chrome wheel covers, it gives the appearance of an XLT Lariat with a dealer added rear chromed diamond-plate step bumper. There is also a unique factory option Under-Bed Carrier (Spare Tire) Locking Device attached to the standard under-bed swing-down tire carrier. Tires are Michelin Defender All Season 255 75/R15s and rims powder coated in the Ford white. Interior comes with a custom woodgrain dash and center bezel. All brand-new gauges, Speedometer, Fuel level, Coolant Temperature, Oil Pressure and Amp Meter, switches, knobs, digital date/clock, climate control unit (heat, upper dash vents and floor vents-No AC), cigarette lighter, ashtray and deep glovebox. Led bulbs were installed throughout the dash and interior lighting (floor and cab). Retrosound Long Beach vintage looking modern digital media receiver installed in center bezel (Bluetooth for hands-free calls and wireless audio streaming and associated microphone and USB port) (Built-in 25 watts x 4 channel RMS amplifier, 300 watts peak), JBL Club 54F speakers (45 watts RMS, 135 watts peak) in the doors and JBL BassPro SL2 amplifier (125 watts RMS) and 8” subwoofers behind the seat. Every part on this truck is new, chromed or blasted and powder coated or painted. Like it rolled of assembly line this morning.
