Description
This 1984 Jeep CJ-7 is a non-running project vehicle that is equipped with a 401ci V8 that does not run due to an overheating issue. The three-speed automatic transmission has been overhauled, and it is linked with a dual-range transfer case and rides on a 4″ suspension lift with a 1″ body lift. Further equipment includes locking front hubs, a PSC power steering system, power-assisted front disc brakes, locking front hubs, and 15″ Mickey Thompson wheels. A red-finished replacement steel tub was installed under current ownership. It features a black half top, a roll cage, metal half doors, a WARN winch, rocker guards, Bully side steps, a receiver hitch, LED exterior lights, Corbeau bucket seats, a locking center console, a retro-style digital stereo, and Rockford Fosgate audio components. This CJ-7 is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the current owner, with a clean Carfax report and a Nevada title in the owner’s name. The body was removed from the frame, which was stripped, media-blasted, and powder-coated in black. A replacement steel tub was mated to the frame, a bed liner material was applied to the interior and underbody, the exterior was painted in three layers of red, and three layers of clear coat were applied over top, per the seller. The truck was reassembled using Kentrol stainless steel hardware, and further details include a black half top and metal half doors as well as dual side mirrors, a WARN winch, rocker guards, black wheel arch fender flares, Bully side steps, a swing-away spare tire carrier, a receiver hitch, and LED headlights, taillights, and KC auxiliary lights.
