1985 Mercedes-Benz 300CD Turbo

This 1985 Mercedes-Benz 300CD Turbo was first delivered to Wright Motors of Syracuse, New York, finished in Anthracite Gray Metallic over Palomino MB-Tex and optioned with an electric sunroof. The car is powered by a 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-five paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. The current owner, an operator of an automotive shop, acquired the car in 2024. Subsequent work involved overhauling the suspension and brakes, installing 15″ BBS wheels and Yokohoma tires, rebuilding the cruise control, retrofitting the Becker cassette stereo with Bluetooth connectivity, installing a Klima Design Works automatic climate control conversion kit, and more as detailed below. This W123 300CD Turbo shows 92k miles and is offered on dealer consignment by a BaT Local Partner at no reserve with a window sticker, a set of 14″ Bundt wheels, a set of uninstalled speakers, a maintenance log and invoices from current ownership, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title. The car left the factory in Anthracite Gray Metallic (172), and it was optioned with an electric sliding sunroof. The hood, roof, sunroof panel, and trunk lid were repainted to match under current ownership to address clearcoat failure. The mirror glass was replaced in March 2024, and a variety of trim clips were replaced in September 2025, per the selling dealer.
