We were introduced through his mechanic. His collection of diesel Benzes is a site to behold. All have been kept in a climate controlled garage with battery tenders including this one which may very well by my personal favorite. In preparation for the auction, I had the opportunity to take the photos for the listing and drive the car. It drives phenomenally with silky smooth shifts and a healthy diesel chug. This is easily one of the cleanest S123 wagons left in the world today. The way the car is presented is exactly how it's been kept for years. Bid with confidence! Delivered at Dominick Motor co in Charlottesville Va on July 10 1985 to a customer in Richmond Va. The early services are marked in the original maintenance book and were performed in Charlottesville and Richmond through 1999 later services are documented in attached paperwork. No rear headrest or shade are with the wagon. The radio works well as do the power windows and antenna. The Virginia inspection covers brakes ,tires, headlights, and all safety related items. I can try to test the A/C compressor in the shop on Monday. Having been stored all these years the overall condition is really impressive.
