Description
KEY FACTS A rare and impressively preserved example of BMW's pioneering all-wheel-drive E30-generation sports saloon, presented in original specification. Powered by a 2.5-litre inline six-cylinder engine, driving all four wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. First registered in 1986, this example has remained in Germany since new. The current owner purchased it from the first owner, and has not registered it in their name, so the paperwork still shows only the original keeper. This particular car is a sought-after early pre-facelift model with chrome bumpers, representing BMW's first series-production all-wheel-drive vehicle, and was awarded 2nd place in the 1980s-onwards class at the Concours de Elegance in Schwetzingen 2026. The odometer shows 32,500 km, which the seller warrants as genuine. EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES Finished in Bronze Beige Metallic over a Beige interior. Equipment includes an electric sliding sunroof, front electric windows, sports seats for the driver and front passenger, and headlight range adjustment. Factory options include: Code 0251 (Tyre puncture indicator), Code 0401 (Electric sliding/lifting roof), Code 0410 (Electric front windows), Code 0428 (Warning triangle/first aid kit), Code 0481 (Sports seats for driver and front passenger), Code 0510 (Headlight range adjustment), Code 0251 (Additional 15 Ltr tank), Code 0351 (Heat-insulating glass), and Code 0311 (Electrically adjustable exterior mirrors). Accompanied by workshop invoices, TÜV reports, classic car valuation reports, a tool kit, jack, sales brochures, service booklet, owner's manuals, two keys, and the Concours de Elegance Classic Gala Schwetzingen 2026 trophy.
