1986 Buick T-Type Turbocharged 3.8L, Low Miles, White

Vehicle Description 1986 Buick T-Type $44,986 1986 Buick T-Type 2-Door Coupe, Turbocharged 3.8L, Believed 6,064 Original Miles, Rare White The 1986 Buick T-Type represents one of the most exciting chapters of Buick’s turbocharged performance era. Sharing its performance DNA with the legendary Grand National, the T-Type offered serious turbocharged power in a more understated package and this striking White example is especially impressive. Finished in what is believed to be its original White paint and complemented by a Blue bucket-seat interior, this T-Type presents exceptionally well. The body is straight and clean, and the rare White-over-Blue color combination gives the car a distinctive appearance that separates it from the sea of black turbo Buicks. The previous owner stated that the car has just 6,064 original miles. While we cannot independently verify the mileage and therefore represent it as believed to be original, the exceptionally low indicated mileage certainly adds to the appeal of this already desirable Buick. Under the hood is Buick’s legendary turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 backed by an automatic transmission. This example has been tastefully upgraded for additional performance, including forged engine internals, a larger turbocharger, and an upgraded fuel system. These improvements build upon the strong foundation that made Buick’s turbo cars some of the most feared American performance machines of the 1980s. Inside, the Blue bucket-seat interior provides a great contrast against the White exterior and retains the unmistakable look and feel of the era. It is also equipped with a power seat for additional comfort. A brand-new set of tires completes the package, making this T-Type ready to be enjoyed. With its great body, extremely attractive color combination, very low believed-original mileage, and upgraded turbocharged drivetrain, this is a very special example of Buick’s iconic 1980s performance coupe. For the enthusiast who appreciates the Grand National formula but wants something considerably less common and more distinctive, this 1986 Buick T-Type deserves a serious look.
