1986 Chevrolet K10 4x4 Tribute Show Truck

Vehicle Description 1986 Chevrolet K10 $47,995 "With its detailed, high-impact appearance and array of top-tier suspension components in full view, you might be tempted to think that this 1986 Chevrolet K10 4x4 Tribute Show Truck is all about visual impact. After all, it features a two-tone, maroon and black paint scheme so detailed that it must be seen up close to be fully appreciated. It has a commanding stance guaranteed to turn heads, and even its shocks have been carefully painted to match the exterior. But rest assured, this is one of those rare show trucks that has even the less obvious details looked after. It features precisely aligned body panels to go along with its custom power forward-tilting front clip and rearward tilting bed, and as you draw closer, you'll notice other details like the shiny chrome bumper in front and the rear roll pan, as well as the clear lighting on both ends. Yep, a lot of work went into making sure this showstopper reached its full potential. Glance inside, and you'll see a custom-contoured black vinyl bench seat at the center of a very clean interior, bracketed by new matching door panels and sitting above carpet with a spotless appearance that suggests it was only recently added. A wood-rimmed steering wheel sits on the tilting column, and the instrument panel beyond it houses an array of factory gauges that are joined by a pair of aftermarket AutoMeter counterparts just below to better monitor motoring functions. This exceptional truck has been outfitted with the power befitting its dominant presence. The 468-cubic-inch V8 lurking under its hood features a performance cam and is fed by a 4-barrel carburetor perched on an Edelbrock intake manifold. Fire it up, tap on the accelerator, and the big block sends just the note you'd want in a ride like this through its Hooker long tube headers leading to a dual exhaust that includes electric cutouts. The accompanying manual transmission features 3 speeds plus a granny low gear to maximize the engine's considerable torque, and a pair of electric cooling fans team with an aluminum radiator to keep its operating temperatures in check. It also features power disc brakes at both ends, so while this K10 is unabashedly built for shows, you'll have fade-resistant stopping ability at your disposal while you're out on the road.
