1987 AM General Humvee, Plan B Supply 'The Ricochet' Custom Armored BuildThis 1987 AM General Humvee is a fully customized Plan B Supply 'Ricochet' armored build with an incredible mix of military presence, modern upgrades, and serious capability. This is not a basic surplus Humvee, it has been transformed into a high-impact custom tactical vehicle with upgraded armor, improved drivability, a finished interior, and the kind of road presence that turns heads everywhere it goes.Power comes from a Duramax diesel setup paired with an Allison 6-speed transmission and a selectable 2WD/4WD transfer case, giving this Humvee a much more modern and usable driving experience. It also features upgraded front and rear differentials, 40-inch tires, a suspension lift, adjustable heavy-duty suspension, and upgraded oversized brakes to match the size and capability of the build. The armored conversion is the main highlight. This Humvee is equipped with an AR500 enclosed cab ballistic Level 7 package, Level 7 ballistic glass, armored doors with double-locking features, door-mounted gun ports, removable armored roof panels, an integrated cab protection cage, and a roof/escape hatch. It also includes a blackout exterior light mode system, front bullguard setup, and front and rear winch equipment for a true tactical look and feel.Inside, the build is far more refined than a standard military Humvee. It includes high-back seating for four, a custom two-tone leather interior with contrast stitching, high-output heat and A/C, multiple power and USB ports, 110V receptacle, multi-view camera system with monitor, and thermal imaging external camera. The result is a rugged armored truck that still offers comfort, technology, and usability.Key Highlights:Plan B Supply 'The Ricochet' custom armored buildDuramax diesel powertrainAllison 6-speed transmissionSelectable 2WD/4WD transfer caseAR500 enclosed cab ballistic Level 7 packageLevel 7 ballistic glass and armored doorsDoor-mounted gun portsIntegrated cab protection cage and roof/escape hatchUpgraded differentials, suspension lift, and oversized brakes40-inch tiresFront and rear winch setupBlackout exterior light mode systemHigh-output heat and A/CCustom two-tone leather interiorMulti-view camera system and thermal imaging cameraDocumented high-dollar custom buildOverall, this 1987 AM General Humvee Ricochet is a one-of-a-kind armored custom build that combines tactical style, serious protection, upgraded performance, and modern comfort.
