1987 Buick Regal T Type

Vehicle Description 1987 Buick Regal T Type $32,000 Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1987 Buick Regal T-Type. The 1987 model year marked the final, finest chapter for Buick's legendary rear-wheel-drive G-Body platform. While the all-black Grand National grabbed the headlines, true automotive enthusiasts know that the 1987 Buick Regal Turbo T was the ultimate driver's secret weapon. Under the subtle, scooped turbo hood lies the celebrated 3.8-Liter SFI Turbocharged and Intercooled V6 engine, mated to a smooth 4-speed TH200-4R automatic transmission. These turbocharged Buicks easily out-accelerated many V8 contemporaries of their era. Because the Turbo T utilized lightweight aluminum bumper brackets and aluminum wheels, it shaved precious pounds off the cast-iron setup of the Grand National-making these cars quicker out of the hole and sharper in the corners. This particular example is built for driving pleasure. The factory Gran Touring suspension paired with fast-ratio power steering and power front disc brakes provides crisp, confident road manners. Inside the cabin, you are treated to a comfortable interior equipped with standard comfort amenities including power windows, power door locks, power steering, and cold air conditioning. Whether you are looking to add a rare, high-performance G-body to your collector garage or want an authentic 1980s turbo sleeper that turns heads everywhere it goes, this 1987 Buick Regal delivers history, performance, and style in one incredible package.
