1987 Lincoln Continental

Vehicle Description 1987 Lincoln Continental $17,000 Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this1987 Lincoln Continental in Rose Quartz, Carmel Luxury Interior, A distinctive piece of 1980s American luxury. The 1987 Lincoln Continental represents the refined, unmistakably American side of the late 1980s - combining elegant styling, plush appointments, and effortless highway comfort. Finished in an exceptionally attractive Rose Quartz exterior and complemented by a warm caramel-style interior, this Continental has the kind of color combination that immediately sets it apart from the more common black, gray, and burgundy examples. The Continental's 5.0-liter V8 delivers the relaxed, smooth character expected from a full-size Lincoln of the period. Paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel-drive layout, it was designed primarily for quiet, comfortable cruising rather than outright performance. The caramel-style interior provides a warm contrast to the Rose Quartz exterior and reinforces the car's luxury-oriented character. Think soft tan, caramel, and champagne tones, with an inviting period-American-luxury atmosphere rather than the colder gray/black interiors common on many surviving cars. Typical Continental luxury appointments of the era included: Plush upholstered seating Power-adjustable driver's seat Power windows and locks Air conditioning Cruise control Tilt steering wheel Premium audio system Wood-tone interior accents Full instrumentation Automatic transmission console shifter Color. Comfort. Character. A 1987 Continental is interesting enough as a piece of 1980s automotive history, but the Rose Quartz over beige/caramel combination makes this particular presentation considerably more memorable. It captures an era when American luxury cars weren't afraid of color, when a Lincoln could be formal, plush, and unapologetically distinctive.
