1987 Pontiac Fiero

Only 14,824 Original Miles Since New 87 Fiero GT 5-Spd This 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT is a remarkably well-preserved, low-mileage example of Pontiac's innovative mid-engine sports car, showing only 14,824 original miles and presenting as one of the nicest GTs you'll find today. With its advanced-for-the-era engineering, sleek fastback styling, and 5-speed manual transmission, this GT captures exactly what made the Fiero such an iconic and collectible piece of 1980s performance history. Power comes from the 2.8-liter EFI V6, the top engine offered in '87, paired to a 5-speed manual transmission that makes full use of the car's lightweight, mid-engine layout. The combination delivers responsive acceleration, a balanced chassis feel, and the unique driving dynamics that made the GT the most desirable Fiero produced. An independent front and rear suspension, rear-wheel drive, and power disc brakes at all four corners further enhance the experience, giving this GT a confident and planted feel on the road. A new clutch master cylinder was recently installed, ensuring smooth pedal operation. Finished in Medium Red Metallic, the car retains its factory shine and signature Aero Package, which includes the GT-specific ground effects and integrated rear fascia. A rear spoiler, 15-inch basketweave wheels with 215/60R15 tires, and pop-up headlights complete the unmistakable 1980s performance look. Because the Fiero body is constructed from fiberglass/composite rust-free panels, it has stayed exceptionally clean and solid over the years. Inside, the Gray cloth bucket seat interior shows beautifully, featuring a sporty center console design and the factory AM/FM cassette audio system. Factory air conditioning, power accessories, and the original spare tire all remain intact. The car includes a service-records binder, adding to its documented history and collector appeal. The only noted issue is an inoperable fuel gauge. A clean Carfax further supports its low miles and excellent condition. For collectors, enthusiasts, or anyone looking to experience Pontiac's only mid-engine production car, this Fiero GT is a truly standout example—beautifully preserved, fun to drive, and ready to be enjoyed or shown.
