DescriptionSALE PENDING - G50 3.2 Liter Carrera Targa, The G50 refers to the Getrag-built 5-speed manual transaxle (gearbox) that Porsche introduced for the 1987 model year on the 3.2-liter Carrera models - This 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa comes in Guards Red with only 23779 miles, all original and in perfect condition, this is an exceptionally rare and desirable example of the classic G-body (3.2-liter) era Porsche 911. This 911 Targa Carrera came from a Private Collection in Naples Florida, car is equipped with a Air Condition Climate Control by Griffiths and a Kuehl High Performance Evaporator, this helps provide more refrigerant, yielding more btu's per square inch than any other design. This is a serious improvement provide very nice and cool air while driving. This Targa is exclusively offered through Euro Prestige Imports in Charlotte, NC. This Holy Grail and very low-mileage survivor represents one of the most collectible configurations from the 1984–1989 911 Carrera lineup: the Targa body style with its iconic removable roof panel (providing open-air driving with rollover protection), paired with the vibrant Guards Red (Porsche code 80K) exterior—a timeless and highly sought-after color that pops under sunlight and has long been a fan favorite for its bold, classic Porsche presence. Key highlights based on the specs for this ultra-low-mileage, preserved example: Mileage — Approximately 23799 original miles (will be driven for testing & service, very low for a nearly 39-year-old car, indicating light use, always garage-kept and babied throughout its life). Car has all its books and the original Monroney from date of delivery.(See last picture) Condition — All original, numbers-matching, and in pristine/perfect condition with no accidents, rust, or major modifications noted. Expect flawless paint, untouched interior, and mechanicals that remain factory-fresh. Engine & Performance — Powered by the air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine (producing around 217–227 hp depending on market/year tweaks), known for its smooth power delivery, distinctive boxer rumble, and engaging rear-engine dynamics. Paired with the desirable Getrag G50 5-speed manual transmission (introduced around 1987 for smoother shifting and better highway cruising compared to earlier 915 units). Exterior Features — Classic 1980s 911 styling with the targa's distinctive brushed stainless-steel rollover hoop, black targa top panel (removable for open driving), integrated fog lights, headlight washers, rear spoiler (likely the standard whale-tail or optional), and period-correct Fuchs-style or similar alloy wheels (often with black centers and polished lips). Interior — Likely black leather (common with Guards Red exteriors), with supportive sport seats, analog gauges, classic Porsche ergonomics, and minimal wear given the low miles—everything from the dashboard to carpets should present as-new. I am getting lots of questions about its originality! This is a all original Porsche Targa, except for radio in dashboard(original in the box) and ac that has been improved, also no tool kit, everything else is there. The car is an all matching number, as fare as the paint, I have pictures of the readings, it looks all fine according to our experience with many I have sold in the past. The mileage is accurate according to our findings. You simply drive it and touch every angle of the car, it is a 20k mile Targa. Please, if you are a serious buyer, understand this is the real deal.
