Description
This 1989 Aston Martin Lagonda is a left-hand-drive Series 4 example that is believed to have been sold new to a record executive in California and featured on the cover of a 1994 new jack swing album. After being exported to Germany circa 2004 and acquired by the seller in 2009, the aluminum-bodied sedan was converted into a two-door coupe and received a repaint along with an interior re-trim as part of a build completed in Koper, Slovakia, from 2013 to 2015. Finished in blue, the car rides on 16″ Wolfrace alloy wheels and features six headlights as well as a glass rear sunroof. Inside, seats trimmed in Magnolia leather are complemented by blue accents and burl wood veneer trim. Power is from a 5.3-liter DOHC V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. This modified Lagonda is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, partial service records, a clean US Carfax report, and German registration in the seller’s name. Restyled by the car’s original designer, William Towns, the Series 4 Lagonda is distinguished by a body-color grille surround, six fixed headlights, and a waterfall trunk lid above a narrow strip of taillights.
