1989 Chevrolet Caprice Classic

1989 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Brougham, Big-Body Custom SedanThis 1989 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Brougham is one of those cars that just has the look. Clean, classy, mostly original, and sitting just right, this Caprice brings that old-school big-body Chevrolet presence with the perfect touch of custom lowrider-style attitude. If you know these cars, you already know clean Broughams are getting harder to find, especially ones that still keep their original character while having the right upgrades in the right places. This Caprice retains its original factory engine, factory automatic transmission, mostly original paint, and original interior, which is a big part of what makes it cool. It hasn't been overdone or turned into something it's not. It still feels like a true Caprice Classic Brougham, comfortable, smooth, and full of late-'80s Chevrolet luxury, but with enough custom presence to make people stop and stare. The stance is what really sets it off. It's sitting on 22-inch Dayton-style wire wheels with large Dayton hubs and Vogue tires, giving the car that unmistakable boulevard cruiser look. The wheel and tire setup fits the car perfectly and gives it a strong, confident presence without taking away from the clean factory body lines.Underneath, this Caprice has the upgrades you want if you actually plan to drive and enjoy it. It features a front and rear disc brake conversion, coilover suspension, power steering, and power-assisted brakes, making it more confident on the road than a stock example. Inside, the original factory interior is very clean and has been complemented by a custom center console, adding a nice personalized touch while keeping the overall Brougham vibe intact. This is the kind of car that works anywhere, pull up to a local show, cruise night, cars and coffee, or just take it out on a sunny weekend and watch how many people come over to talk about it. Big-body GM cars like this have a following for a reason, and clean examples with the right stance and tasteful upgrades don't sit around forever.Key Highlights:1989 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Brougham4-door big-body Chevrolet sedanVery clean overall conditionMostly original paintOriginal factory interiorOriginal factory engineFactory automatic transmissionFront-engine, rear-wheel-drive layoutBrougham luxury trim packagePower steeringPower-assisted brakesFront and rear disc brake conversionCoilover suspension22-inch Dayton-style wire wheelsLarge Dayton hubsVogue tiresCustom wheel and tire fitmentCustom center consoleClean factory body and trimPeriod-correct custom cruiser styleOverall, this 1989 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Brougham is a clean, mostly original big-body Chevy with the right custom flavor.
