1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer

This 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer was modified under previous ownership with the installation of a 5.3-liter Vortec V8, a 6L80E six-speed automatic transmission, and a custom suspension lift kit with remote-reservoir Fox and Bilstein shocks. It was later acquired on BaT in August 2025 by the current owner, who commissioned a cosmetic refurbishment and further modifications totaling over $25k. Work involved repainting the body in white, retrimming the front seats in Cordovan upholstery, and fitting a four-wheel disc brake setup with Wilwood front calipers as well as replacing the woodgrain body trim, steering wheel, instrument cluster, and more, as outlined below. The truck rides on 15″ forged aluminum wheels and is further equipped with a receiver hitch, Hella fog lights, Warn front hubs, air conditioning, and an Alpine head unit. This modified SJ Grand Wagoneer is now offered by the consigning dealer— a BaT Local Partner —with records for work performed under current ownership, an assortment of spare parts, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Colorado title. As part of the cosmetic refurbishment, the vehicle was partially disassembled, body repairs were performed, and the weatherstripping, door seals, marker light assemblies, and emblems were replaced.
