It may appear that rear suspension is sagging as a result. Repair Documents show the accumulator was replaced.March 8th, 2023 at 5:30pm ESTMBCollector84 (12) Seller 0The air functions work properly otherwise besides needing a rechargeMarch 8th, 2023 at 5:28pm EST$3,750 bid placed by @BackNeinMarch 8th, 2023 at 5:24pm ESTMBCollector84 (12) Seller 0In regards to concerns about rust I don't believe there is any but will be home soon to verifyMarch 8th, 2023 at 5:23pm ESTMBCollector84 (12) Seller 1The leather is in very good condition. Also, in one photo with the trunk open, it looks like there might be rust around the trunk seal above the drivers-side tail lamp? Can you confirm what’s going on there? I see you indicate the AC is not functioning - does the climate system otherwise work appropriately, distribute air as directed, etc.? Are there any other electrical systems/accessories that are not working as designed? Thank you!March 7th, 2023 at 10:46pm ESTMBCollector84 (12) Seller 0Hey Bidders, Just wanted to confirm it's still an R12 system. Perhaps I'll get to relive history in three days. Regardless, good luck with this auction as this is a very nice example.March 5th, 2023 at 2:26pm EST$1,250 bid placed by @dengreeneMarch 4th, 2023 at 10:30am EST$1,000 bid placed by @Skid44March 3rd, 2023 at 11:52pm EST$750 bid placed by @WdkullMarch 3rd, 2023 at 12:47pm ESTMBCollector84 (12) Seller 1@familyman12345 and daughter, We did two shoots at different times of day with different lighting to get the "80's catalog look" I was very pleased with the results. Thank you for noticing!March 3rd, 2023 at 10:15am ESTFamilyman12345 (2) 2The pictures that you posted are beautiful - very dramatic lighting. My daughter is a professional photographer, and she would say you did an excellent job on a magnificent car!March 2nd, 2023 at 2:26pm ESTAMG5pt4 (152) 2It's more than the owner put Bundt wheels on this SEL - these are very rare 15" versions of the bundt wheels - all of the Bundts used from the late 60's to around 1985 were 14"s. MB made a batch of 15" Bundts and this car has a set. These wheels are very lightweight forged alloy and worth a lot more than a set of stock Gen II wheels! They are also wider than the old 14s allowing wider tires. Similar to the steel wheels used on most 60's MBs with the painted wheel "hubcaps" - the vast majority were 14s but MB made 15's for the W100 limos that looked the same, but were the larger diameter - very rare and valuable. March 2nd, 2023 at 12:28pm ESTMBCollector84 (12) Seller 0@star4car I appreciate the astute observation. I have located a set of 560 SEL wheels from a local collector that could be of interest to the winning bidder. Happy to connect the dots March 1st, 2023 at 1:54pm ESTstar4car (1) 1Interesting choice to back-date the wheels to bundts - they were last used on the 1985 models.March 1st, 2023 at 10:42am EST$500 bid placed by @Skid44February 28th, 2023 at 12:53pm EST$250 bid placed by @Wdkull
