Description
This 1989 Toyota MR2 is powered by a supercharged 1.6-liter inline-four that was rebuilt in 2026 utilizing CP pistons, HKS camshafts, and a revised supercharger pulley. Additional modifications include a TRD exhaust header, a RobTune GruntBox, an A’PEXi SAFC II module, and an Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator. Shifting is through a five-speed manual transaxle, and the car is finished in pearl white over burgundy velour upholstery. It rides on KYB shocks as well as 14″ basketweave wheels and is further equipped with removable T-top roof panels, R134a-retrofitted air conditioning, cruise control, and a CD/cassette stereo. Now showing 199k miles, this AW11 MR2 is offered at no reserve with partial service records, dynamometer test results, engine overhaul photos, removed factory and spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name. This first-generation MR2 came from the factory in gloss white and was repainted pearl white in the late 1990s, per the seller. Details include black and red pinstripes, pop-up headlights, removable glass roof panels, body-color rocker moldings, power-adjustable side mirrors, and a quarter panel air intake. The optional Aerodynamic Spoiler Package added a color-keyed rear spoiler, lower side skirts, and rear mudguards, as well as a clear plastic extension over the Toyota-scripted rear window. The T-top seals were replaced in March 2026. Spots of rust are noted on the left-rear wheel well and at the bottom of the left-front fender. The power antenna only extends halfway.
