1990 Chevrolet 454 SS Custom Pickup

This custom 1990 Chevrolet 454 SS pickup is powered by a 6.2-liter LS V-8 engine sourced from a 2019 Chevrolet Corvette, backed by an 8L90 automatic transmission with a Circle D custom 3,600-stall torque converter and a custom aluminum driveshaft by Houston Driveshaft. The engine features an 11.5:1 compression ratio, Texas Speed Stage 2 camshaft, ported and polished heads, OEM Corvette intake manifold, Aeromotive fuel-injection system, ICT LT engine-mount kit, PSI wiring harness, CVF Racing serpentine pulley kit, Boost Tech Fab custom cold-air intake and Entropy radiator. A narrowed rear axle by Pile Brothers features 4.10 gears and Positraction. The exhaust consists of Speed Engineering Shorty headers and a Borla XR-1 system with a 3-inch H-pipe. An Entropy transmission cooler is also fitted. The chassis features Air Lift suspension with QA1 shocks and powder-coated red suspension components. The custom fuel cell is paired with custom sheet metal wheel tubs in the bed and Heart Fab front wheel tubs by Dru Custom Builds. The exterior is finished in PPG 99K Black paint applied by Alamo Customs in Alvin, Texas. Budnik Gasser D wheels measure 22x8.5 in front and 24x15 at the rear and are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires measuring 265/30/22 and 405/25/24, respectively. The interior features red leather seats, door panels and headliner by Campos Upholstery, along with flat-red interior plastics painted by Juan Sorto. OneGauge digital gauges and a Budnik Gasser D billet steering wheel complete the interior.
