1990 Ford Mustang

Limited Edition 7 Up 5.0L Mustang LX Convertible | Only 53,876 Original Miles! This 1990 Ford Mustang LX Convertible is a standout example of one of the most recognizable and collectible Fox-body specials ever produced, the Limited Edition 7-Up promotional convertible. One of just 4,103 built, this car represents a unique moment in Mustang history, blending classic 5.0 performance with unmistakable factory styling and documented provenance. With only 53,876 original miles since new, a clean Carfax, and a title that also reads actual miles, this example checks all the boxes for originality, condition, and collectability. Under the hood sits Ford's legendary 5.0L HO V8 with SEFI fuel injection, paired to an automatic overdrive transmission and a 2.73 Traction-Lok rear axle. The drivetrain delivers the smooth, torquey performance Fox-body Mustangs are famous for, making it an enjoyable cruiser that still carries the unmistakable character of a true 5.0 car. New shocks have recently been installed, contributing to a confident, comfortable driving experience. The fuel gauge is believed to be inaccurate, a minor quirk noted for transparency. Finished in its correct and highly desirable Deep Emerald Green exterior, the car presents beautifully and is immediately recognizable as a 7-Up Edition. The white convertible top contrasts perfectly with the paint and remains a defining feature of these limited-production cars. A matching top boot is included, completing the clean, finished look when the top is down. Additional exterior details include tinted glass and the original front license plate bracket. Inside, the Oxford White interior delivers a bright, period-correct cabin that complements the exterior perfectly. The interior is well equipped with power side windows, power locks, dual electric remote mirrors, speed control, air conditioning with manual controls, and the light group. The leather-wrapped steering wheel and premium sound system enhance the driving experience, while the AM/FM cassette stereo with clock keeps the car true to its original era. The heavy-duty battery and premium sound system were factory options, further reinforcing how well this Mustang was optioned from new. What truly sets this example apart is the exceptional level of documentation and original items included with the car. It comes with the original framed window sticker, a framed Marti Report, original manuals, and the original paper visor sleeve for convertible top operation. A limited-production die-cast model of the 7-Up Mustang, valued at approximately $300, is also included, along with a car cover. These details elevate the car beyond just a nice driver and firmly into collector-grade territory. Produced on March 23, 1990, this Limited Edition 7-Up Mustang LX Convertible represents a rare opportunity to own a highly documented, low-mileage example of one of the most iconic Fox-body special editions ever built. With its distinctive color combination, strong 5.0 drivetrain, excellent presentation, and extensive original documentation, this Mustang offers tremendous appeal to collectors and enthusiasts alike and is ready to be enjoyed, shown, or preserved as a true modern classic.
