1990 Land Rover D110 Arkonik

Station Wagon rebuilt by Arkonik · Fuel-injected 3.5-litre V8 · Five-speed manual · Buckingham Blue Metallic over Ruskin full black leather · 1,470 miles since completion · VIN SALLDHAV8HA458509 An Arkonik-built Land Rover Defender 110 Station Wagon on chassis SALLDHAV8HA458509, finished in Buckingham Blue Metallic over Ruskin full black leather, with a fuel-injected 3.5-litre Rover V8 and a five-speed manual gearbox — the more period of the specifications Arkonik offers, against a catalogue that runs to LS3 and LT1 conversions. Arkonik rebuilds Defenders at Mells in Somerset and has exported them to the United States and Canada since 2011, limiting itself to five builds a month against a twenty-four-month lead time; the original mild steel frame is retained with its factory stamped numbers, which is what allows the finished vehicle to be imported and titled in the United States under the twenty-five-year rule. Equipment runs to modern air conditioning, heated front and rear leather seats, a Pioneer head unit with Apple CarPlay and a reverse camera, LED lighting inside and out, Arkonik Cellular Dynamic suspension and a pull-out drawer under the rear cargo space. It has covered 1,470 miles since completion, and a CARFAX run on 16 April 2026 reports eight records with no accident, damage, structural or odometer entry and a title clear of every brand. Disclosed: no Arkonik build file, invoice or specification sheet for this chassis accompanies the vehicle, so the build date and the cost of the work are not stated; and the Florida registration record notes the colour as Black against the Buckingham Blue Metallic on the vehicle.
