The A/C does work but is low on refrigerant. It still has R12 in it. I have been fortunate to find someone in the area that still has R12. It likely will need to be converted. The harness was installed for the occasional autocross or track day with the Mercedes-Benz Club and local car clubs. It was not required to have, but I did so to help with any body soreness afterwards. No damage of any kind from participating on the track or autocross, and it did quite well in class.
