I'll share a little more about this unique w124. Also I want to clarify since I was asked privately, the car is located in Arlington, VA, and it has a clean and clear Illinois title plus copies of all the import docs, so it's ready to go! I purchased it from a parts supplier in Spain called BL Spares. They specialize in MB parts and do some restorations/reconditioning of vehicles, less than 10 per year. This one has all the work described in the listing and also has the original MB servicebook stamped up until 140k kms. I picked it up outside of Madrid and drove it to Santander, a city in the north of Spain which is about 400kms from Madrid (about 240 miles) and it drove flawlessly. Didn't miss a beat. After that I drove it another 100 kms to the port of Bilbao, also in the north of Spain, and boarded the ferry which took me to Portsmouth. From there a quick drive to Southampton (about 20 miles away), and on to the US. The car has been repainted in its original smoke silver color and looks fantastic. According to lastvin.com it was originally delivered in Spain, and everything on the car corresponds to the original factory configuration.
