The fluid looks to be in very nice shape and if I had to guess, thay may have been one of the records that was lost during the move. This car looks like a nice clean example, and in my opinion these cars drive better than the E-Class models built today. More than adequate power and these cars are nimble and tight. Do you have receipts for that AC work? Reason I'm asking is the Evaporator Core is like 3k worth of labor and is a common failure on these. It has been converted to R134A but I am not certain if the evaporator was done. If I recall correctly, there was a record of a nearly $1,700 air conditioning repair so that may have included that part.
