If so, could you check the passenger side fender? i could be wrong but the gap seems to be a bit inconsistent. The only thing that wasn't up to my standards was the front bumper which I had repainted. No signs of rust anywhere . This was one of the very early conversion done so it is a possibility the vin plaque was introduced at a later time. Japanese builds all varied from what I have seen on many premergers and I think others can concur. You’re more than welcome to come see the car in person. I did not see any, I know some of the really early builds did not have any markings on the block.
