Description
KEY FACTS A striking luxury grand tourer, this Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC has been transformed into an AMG-style Wide Body Tribute with extensive cosmetic and interior changes. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.6-litre V8, driving the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. First registered in the UK in 1990, it has been with the current owner for three months. According to the seller, the car spent approximately 15 years in storage before being sent overseas for restoration work. Upon its return it was deemed to be of insufficient quality, and the decision was then made to put the car through a complete Wide Body conversion programme, and to make it as period-correct as possible. The odometer indicates 76,842 miles, which the seller believes to be the genuine total. EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES This example has been extensively modified to emulate the appearance of a period AMG Wide Body, including a full AMG-style body kit, AMG-style split-rim alloy wheels, AMG-style rear exhaust with engraved tailpipe finishers, and satin black exterior badging. This car left the factory in Nautical Blue over Beige, but it has been refinished in a striking Black over Red colour scheme, featuring a fully reupholstered leather interior extending across the seats and interior trim panels. Other modifications to this car include adjustable coilover suspension, period-style white instrument dials, AMG-style dashboard and rear window decals, an AMG Momo steering wheel, and period-correct Recaro front seats. The sale includes two ignition keys. CONDITION Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition. SERVICE HISTORY The seller states that the last maintenance was carried out in July 2026 at 71,736 miles by Motoburo, consisting of a standard service. Further work during the current ownership has reportedly included paint correction, suspension upgrade installation, detailing, and the fitment of various period-style AMG-inspired components. S
