Description
KEY FACTS A highly distinctive and extensively re-engineered first-generation Honda NSX, transformed by renowned Japanese Honda specialist Tomiyoshi Racing into an uncompromising road and track-inspired performance machine. It is powered by an enhanced naturally aspirated 3.2-litre stroked C30A V6 with forged internals and individual throttle bodies, driving the rear wheels through an NSX-R six-speed manual transmission modified with reverse lock-out mechanism.. This example is understood to have originally been a Hong Kong-delivered model, which was recently imported to Australia, where it passed compliance in April 2023, and it has been with the seller for three years. The car was originally built as a 1991 NA1 before undergoing a comprehensive Tomiyoshi Racing conversion inspired by the workshop's famous 'Kyushu Danji' Time Attack NSX. The odometer is understood to indicate approximately 9,000 km, though this is not warranted. Build year: 1991 EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES This NSX has been comprehensively modified by Tomiyoshi Racing, with the objective of replicating the workshop's celebrated Kyushu Danji Time Attack build. The original ‘C30A’ V6 has been stroked to 3.2 litres and fitted with forged internal components, an individual throttle body conversion, a carbon-fibre air intake box, an upgraded fuel system with surge tank, a bespoke exhaust system with central exits, and an Emtron KV8 engine management system. The drivetrain features an NSX-R six-speed manual gearbox with reverse lockout and a twin-plate clutch. Chassis upgrades include NSX-R brake components, 17-inch RAYS-engineering Volk Racing CE28 forged alloy wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres, and a comprehensive suspension package. Exterior modifications include a Sorcery wide-body conversion, a functional roof scoop, a carbon-fibre rear wing, an NSX-R headlight conversion, and a repaint from the original factory red to its current white finish with a contrasting gloss-black roof.
