A man can dream; perhaps I'll buy a lotto ticket later (it's a nice day in ATL to drop the top in the Boxster...)August 21st, 2024 at 4:10pm EST$44,000 bid placed by @HerostarAugust 21st, 2024 at 4:05pm ESTCshai (2) 1@GoBoGo I'm sure you'd be able to that organizing it privately or if seller is very helpful with some help from him. Since this car is in already in Germany, could you do something analogous to European Delivery back in the day? Meaning, fly to Germany, pick it up and drive throughout Europe on vacation and THEN ship to the us?August 19th, 2024 at 5:25pm ESTMercedesml (14) Seller 0@UncleFred1 AMG was the first owner with number plates (LB EL 415 / EL: Ellen Lohr) and it was built for Ellen Lohr. It has in total 5 owners, the last 22 years in the same ownership of a very passionated Mercedes collector.August 19th, 2024 at 8:25am EST$39,000 bid placed by @HerostarAugust 18th, 2024 at 12:46pm EST$37,500 bid placed by @RADSTRAugust 18th, 2024 at 1:36am ESTUncleFred1 (12) 1Didn’t ask sooner…is Ellen the current owner? If not, how many owners have their been? Please advise!😁👍August 14th, 2024 at 4:37pm EST$37,000 bid placed by @HerostarAugust 14th, 2024 at 12:15pm EST$35,000 bid placed by @AntiquarianAugust 14th, 2024 at 11:54am ESTMercedesDad (134) 0@Mercedesml , thank you for the response. I guess there is no way to open the valve cover in search for "AMG" camshaft stamps. Maybe? Thank you, again, beautiful 16V!August 13th, 2024 at 9:25am EST$12,500 bid placed by @jc944tAugust 12th, 2024 at 11:09am EST$7,500 bid placed by @UncleFred1August 12th, 2024 at 2:52am ESTMercedesml (14) Seller 0@UncleFred1 wow that’s a cool story! The car is in Germany Aalen, near Stuttgart. We sold in the past couple of similar cars to US and never had any issue. We can help in doing the import and shipping. August 12th, 2024 at 2:41am ESTMercedesml (14) Seller 0@MercedesDad Hi, many thanks. The car have couple of AMG upgrades and details. We checked and tested the car, it feels much stronger then a regular 2.5 16. It has brakes, exhaust and something there could be as well some little upgrades on the engine (Maybe optimized camshafts). August 12th, 2024 at 1:45am ESTUncleFred1 (12) 1Well, quite a car. I think I may have even seen this car and met Ellen in Germany in 1991. Crazy. Just to confirm, the car is still In Stuttgart, and has no emissions provision for the US? I think I see a catalytic converter, but would just like to be sure either way. Please advise…I’m ready to bid for the car.👍 Thank you! August 11th, 2024 at 5:12pm ESTMercedesDad (134) 1Hi seller, lovely machine! Aside from cosmetic upgrades, the only performance enhancements performed by AMG are bigger brakes and exhaust. Correct? Thank you! August 10th, 2024 at 3:54pm ESTJim_Rosenthal (96) 1Very cool historical artifact that you can drive and zip around in. I'm keen to see what it brings.
