Since it has the 990 code on the datacard, it's safe to say the car was fitted with the Gen 1 kit along with engine upgrade when new. Then later in the 90's when the car was in Japan, the facelift and Gen 2 kit was added by AMG Japan since it was a common and desired upgrade at the time.
