I never drive the car in inclement weather so it was not an issue for me. The result is that the transfer case needs to be drained at every oil change to drain the excess fluid. I have driven the vehicle in 2wd mode with the 4matic turned off for a few years with no issue. This has allowed me not to need to drain the transfer case. I have not replaced the transfer case with a rebuilt transfer case as I never drive the car in the winter or in inclement weather.September 12th, 2024 at 12:31pm ESTcdwatnsu (32) 0Hi seller.
