1992 Mazda Miata

77,742 Miles, 1.6L I4, 5-Speed, Convertible, Classic Red Lightweight, balanced, and endlessly fun to drive, this 1992 Mazda Miata MX-5 captures everything that made the NA Miata an instant classic. With just 77,742 original miles and backed by a clean Carfax, this example presents as a well-kept driver that delivers the pure, analog roadster experience enthusiasts continue to seek out. Powered by the responsive 1.6L inline-4 engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, this Miata offers a direct, engaging connection to the road. The rear-wheel-drive layout combined with independent front and rear suspension gives the car its signature nimble handling and precise steering feel, making it just as enjoyable on a back road as it is around town. Power disc brakes provide confident stopping, rounding out a well-balanced driving package. Finished in Classic Red, the car has received one repaint and still shows very well overall, maintaining the bright, iconic look that defines early Miatas. The compact proportions, simple lines, and low stance give it timeless appeal, while the 14-inch wheels wrapped in 185/60R14 tires keep the car true to its original driving dynamics. Inside, the black cloth bucket seat interior remains clean and functional, centered around a simple, driver-focused layout with a center console. The cabin retains its original charm while offering convenience features such as power steering and air conditioning. An AM/FM/CD cassette audio system provides entertainment while keeping a period-correct feel. The black vinyl convertible top is in place and allows for easy open-air driving, making this car perfect for weekend cruising or top-down summer drives. A car cover is also included, helping to preserve its condition. This Miata shows great overall with minor imperfections noted in the photos, consistent with a well-maintained driver rather than an over-restored example. It represents an excellent opportunity to own a classic roadster that is affordable, reliable, and incredibly fun to drive. With its low mileage, clean history, and timeless driving experience, this 1992 Mazda Miata MX-5 is exactly what a classic sports car should be—simple, engaging, and ready to be enjoyed every time you get behind the wheel.
