1992 Porsche 964 Carrera RS Touring

1992 Porsche 911 Carrera RS Touring 964 - Guards Red: One of 76 Ever Produced We invite you to explore the high-resolution studio photos of our 1992 Porsche 911 Carrera RS Touring - 964, a rare and exquisite gem in the world of classic sports cars. This model, produced between 1991 and 1994, harks back to the revered 1973 RS Touring, embodying a perfect blend of track-focused performance and refined comfort. The 964 Carrera RS Touring mirrors the racing spirit of the Standard RS, featuring an aluminum hood and seam-welded body construction for enhanced rigidity and weight savings. However, this "touring" variant caters to those seeking a touch of luxury with posh electric leather-covered seats, motorized windows, and air conditioning—amenities absent in the more Spartan Standard RS. Under the hood, you'll find the same thrilling 3.6L flat-six engine as its track-oriented sibling, delivering a robust 260 horsepower. This potent powerplant, coupled with the car's lightweight construction, ensures an exhilarating driving experience. What sets this particular Porsche 964RS Touring apart is its exceptional rarity—only 76 units were ever produced. This example, with a mere 34,862 km on the odometer, remains in concours-level, like-new condition, retaining all its original paint and interior. Originally delivered to Japan through Mizwa Motors and later imported to the United States in 2012 by a prominent Porsche collector, this vehicle boasts matching numbers, further enhancing its collectible status. Finished in striking Guards Red with a black leather interior, this 1992 Porsche 964RS Touring offers a unique piece of 964 history and an unparalleled driving experience. It's not just a car; it's a testament to Porsche's legacy of blending performance and luxury in a way that few other cars can match.
