Description
KEY FACTS This BMW E36 M3 is a highly desirable and exciting modern classic performance coupe, presented in a rare and sought-after factory specification. It is powered by a 3.0-litre S50B30 inline-six engine, driving the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. First registered in 1993, this M3 was previously registered in Sweden and is now registered in France. The odometer shows 36,350 km, which the seller believes to be the genuine total. EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES This example is a highly desirable 'non sunroof' specification. It is presented in a rare Dakar Yellow finish over an Anthracite M Cloth / Amaretta interior, making it a particularly collectible E36-generation M3. Equipment includes heated 'Vader' seats, rear headrests, a front armrest, air conditioning, and an 11-button On-Board Computer (OBC). The car has been fitted with an aftermarket amplifier. Accompanying the car are its original complete tool kit, a full spare wheel with jack, an original warning triangle, and five keys. CONDITION Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition. Specific notes from the seller include: the paintwork was refinished prior to the seller's ownership due to minor parking damage. Inside, there is a small round hole on the driver's seat and the foam on the entry/exit bolster is slightly collapsed. The door cards are slightly peeling and the headlining is also slightly detached, which are common E36 issues. There are also some dead pixels on the OBC. SERVICE HISTORY The car was most recently serviced in July 2026 at 36,228 km. A service was performed in May 2025 at 35,650 km by Sunrise Motors. The previous owner reported that routine maintenance was carried out in February 2024 at 34,500 km. The previous owner also reported that the car was in storage from 2005 to 2023, and following this they replaced the vacuum hoses, cleaned and lubricated the throttle and engine linkages, replaced the fuel pump, and cleaned the fuel tank.
