KEY FACTS This E32-generation BMW Alpina B12 5.0 is an extremely rare modern classic V12-powered luxury performance saloon, which is one of just 10 examples of the special 10th Anniversary edition commissioned for the Japanese market. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V12, producing around 350PS and 470 Nm of torque, driving the rear wheels through a four-speed ZF automatic transmission. This example is identified as number eight of 10 of the Anniversary series and carries Alpina production number 0239. The model was capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in approximately 6.9 seconds, with a quoted top speed of around 275 km/h. The 10th Anniversary edition was reportedly commissioned in 1990 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Nicole, Alpina's Japanese impo
