Vehicle Description 1993 Chevrolet C3500 $27,895 1993 Chevy C3500 DRW Crew Cab Silverado – 7.4L V8 (454), Auto, RWD, Stereo, 16″ Alcoas, New Tires, Great Miles, Very Clean, Runs Strong!1993 Chevy C3500 DRW Crew Cab Silverado – Thanks to the tough-guy look of the Dodge Ram pickup and the rounded mod-squad shape of the Ford F-Series pickup in the same era, the Chevrolet and GMC C/K full-size pickups suddenly looked like the old kids on the block. Yet, in truck years, the General Motors full-size pickups aren’t really that old. The design was first introduced in 1988 as a completely new offering inside and out, and even today it looks clean, crisp and contemporary. GM’s introduction of the Vortec engines added a lot more power under the hood. In horsepower, the 4.3-liter V6 has more than the previous 5.0-liter V8, the 5.0-liter V8 has more than the previous 5.7, and the 5.7 has more than the previous 7.4. The 7.4 is also way up. Across the board, torque figures are up about 10 to 20 lb.-ft. The 1988-1998 Old Body Style “OBS” trucks are one of the most rapidly appreciating segments of the truck market. If you waited to long to get a deal on an Action Line or Squarebody series truck, these 4th generation GM trucks present an opportunity to get ahead of the investment curve. Where else can you find a truck with a unique look that will maintain its value and is already a “classic” by many states definitions. The 25 years old (+) categorization as a classic entitles you to discounts on registration, inspections, and most importantly insurance. So now that we’ve clarified why these trucks are the ones to own, lets discuss why this clean 1993 Silverado dually is the one you want in your garage. This 1-ton has seen a repaint in it’s original Olympic White and is very clean inside and out. It has just the right stance, an upgraded set of 16″ Alcoas, is in top mechanical condition, and just rolled over 103k miles. It recently completed a 1,500 drive with no issues. The interior is original and is in excellent condition.
