1993 Mercedes-Benz 500-Class 500 SL

Thanks for taking a look at out Mercedes 500SL. We can be reached by email or telephone at 336-852-5852. Additional photos and the Carfax report can be seen on our website www.myautofocus.com. Nearing classic status, the R129 Mercedes SL500 is an elegant, capable yet comfortable roadster. Designed and built in an era where Mercedes vehicles were well made and long lasting, these vehicles are in many ways better than the newer models offering less complication and higher durability. This SL is a low mileage example that has been here in North Carolina and garaged for the last 20 years. It's a nice car in good condition for the age. The owner's manual, two keys and the removable hardtop are present. Our preparation for sale began with replacing the convertible top and hydraulic cylinders. A missing hard top, damaged or inop soft top drastically affects the value of these cars so it's definitely important to note that both tops are good on this one. Other items include an oil change, brake fluid flush, new tires, battery, drive belt, air filter, hood pad, valve cover gaskets, rear brakes, front lower ball joints, upper strut mounts, rear lower control arm bushings, spark plugs and front shocks. This Mercedes is now in good mechanical condition and ready to enjoy! Please contact us for more information or to schedule a test drive. Note that we will be updating the listing soon to include photos of the hard top installed. We have the top off for now to show off how well the soft top works! Even with changes in used car market over the last few years, we have not changed our approach and still offer the best ones we can find, clean, up to date and ready to drive at fair price in today's market. We can arrange shipping for out of area buyers. The purchase process here is simple, efficient and can typically be completed in less than an hour. The majority of our buyers are in NC and VA. We handle the registration process for all local and some out state buyers. Auto Focus has a $599 documentation fee and collects for taxes & registration in most cases. We urge shoppers to be prepared to buy and take delivery - arrange a ride, have funds ready, bring your insurance details etc. We no longer offer financing, we do not take deposits, we don't hold cars and we don't offer storage. We highly recommend calling to confirm availability before driving any distance. For buyers who want a good car and a fast, easy deal, Auto Focus is the place to come!
