The auction house has all the personal information on me as the seller. In addition, the winner would, of course, get all personal information from me, including personal ID and photos of the cars title in my name, and other info as requested(as photo of chassis VIN etc). All before the payment is made.April 21st, 2024 at 5:43am ESTReinier_w (0) 0How can we be sure that we get the car after we send the payment without having any details from buyer or even the location of the car? Normaly a auctionhouse pay the seller after the buyer confirms the purchase is as descriped. I prefer to stand next to the car before transfer the winning price. The car is located in a remote storage facility for the time being, and I can't get a photo of that until earliest next week. But I can guarrantee and assure you that it is there, complete and correct, I have checked it myself in right front wheel well. I looked throught my photos, but unfortunately I don't have it documented in any of them.April 19th, 2024 at 8:37am ESTReinier_w (0) 0Hello! Nice car you are selling! Could you please send a picture of the stamped VIN number (on the chassis front right side/) thanks. The S class project did not sell as well as thought, and over 500 engines were left over on the shelf. The 500GE AMG option codes meant that AMG would fit these left over engines, AMG instrument cluster, 2 diff lock spec instead of 3 diff locks, rear heated seats for some markets, colored contrast seat inserts, and the wood center console would have the AMG logo and signature. I think likely AMG Japan removed the original wood parts and redid them or refit the car with the different ones we see on this specimen. AMG sticker on rear corner is just a dealership sticker, from AMG Japan. There are normal 300GE and G320 cars that are completely stock that have this sticker. It just means it was sold thru the dealership, of AMG Japan. Many were partner sales with Yanase, AMG Japan's largest partner in the market, and Daimler's largest importer for decades. April 14th, 2024 at 8:16am ESTpwc_ (0) Seller 0@scollection, thank you for asking, and sorry for the late reply. That's a good question really. I have no documentation on what was modified by AMG. The only thing we can be sure of, based on the AMG VIN badge, the "ZB6 500GE (AMG)" option code and the "AMG Japan" sticker on the left rear of the vehicle, that it was in some way through the AMG system at that time. One of the things I think AMG probably modified, was replacing all the burred walnut trim(original option code V56) with chestnut burl wood. I have never seen another W463 with this type of chestnut trim before, and it has all the bespoke wood trim pieces for the 500GE, that you don't find in an ordinary W463. But again this is not documented so it's really just speculation. April 12th, 2024 at 2:37pm ESTscollection (9) 1What did AMG modify?
