At the heart of the GTS-25t is Nissan's legendary RB25DET, a 2.5-liter DOHC 24-valve turbocharged inline-six. Unlike the all-wheel-drive GT-R, the GTS-25t Type M is a rear-wheel-drive performance coupe, making it a particularly appealing choice for enthusiasts who want the character of an RB-powered Skyline without the price and complexity of an R33 GT-R. This example is an imported 1993 Japanese-market Skyline, offering the opportunity to own one of Nissan's most recognizable performance cars from the golden era of Japanese sports cars. The R33's sophisticated multi-link suspension was one of the defining characteristics of the Skyline platform, providing a substantial improvement in ride and handling compared with more conventional suspension designs. WHY THIS SKYLINE IS SPECIAL JDM ICON The R33 Skyline is one of the defining Japanese performance cars of the 1990s. RB25DET POWER The turbocharged RB25DET has become one of Nissan's best-known performance engines. REAR-WHEEL DRIVE The GTS-25t delivers a different driving experience from the AWD GT-R while retaining the Skyline's performance heritage. MANUAL TRANSMISSION A factory 5-speed manual is highly desirable among enthusiasts. TYPE M The GTS-25t Type M represents one of the more performance-oriented non-GT-R R33 configurations. IMPORT STATUS As a Japanese-market vehicle, the car offers genuine JDM specifications and styling that were never officially sold new in the United States.
