No wonder the guys family owned majority share of Diamler at the time. Incredible W140! Looking forward to watching the end of this one. If possible, would be nice to see a cold start of this beauty, opening/closing of the sunroof, closing/opening of the rear sunshade. If you can get to it @ferrari1971 thanks in advance April 16th, 2023 at 2:13am ESTferrari1971 (0) Seller 0@Growingupin80s , Yes I will get it tomorrow. The armrest houses the handset for the telephone. April 16th, 2023 at 12:50am EST$8,750 bid placed by @2plus2April 15th, 2023 at 11:13pm ESTGrowingupin80s (7) 1The W140 is the sweet spot for me. I find the W126 bit old in driving dynamics and the W220 plastic with a blah design. I had the opportunity to purchase this car last year. Unfortunately had to pass it up due to limited space in my warehouse. Good luck to the seller. Truly a unique car. He passed away in 10/2006 and gifted the car to his Chauffeur . The address listed on the documents was at the Vintage Club in a 20,000 sq ft house and he was worth $6.1 billion when he passed so it was safe to assume he could afford to maintain the car. I will post the service invoice with the wiring harness replacement at 31kmi. April 12th, 2023 at 10:13pm ESTAmpeliaAMG (5) 0Is there any other documentation tying this vehcile to the Friedrich Flick family? Any idea if the bio degradable wiring harness has been replaced? Nice to see a W140 that is not black. April 11th, 2023 at 11:46pm EST$6,000 bid placed by @2plus2April 11th, 2023 at 10:57pm ESTferrari1971 (0) Seller 0@@Vlad600sel , I purchased these wheels from Stathios and with shipping and fees it was $3,400. Plus it cost $1,500 to refinish them and the Michelin Pilot sport 4s we're around $1,400. So they were an expensive addition. $6,300. But they transform the look of the car.
