1995 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 4X4 Restomod

Vehicle Description 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe $39,995 There is something about a two-door SUV that still captures the imagination. It reads like a time capsule from an era when trucks were simple, tough, and full of character. This Tahoe has been given a thoughtful twist that hints at what the next generation might have become if it had been allowed to evolve: modern presence with classic attitude. With hints of updated styling and a purposeful stance that turns heads, this is a truck that makes a statement and begs to be driven, especially as a 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe fitted with a Gen3 6.0 LQ9 V8 and 4L60E automatic transmission. Step inside and you will find a mostly stock layout with a few modern comforts. The cabin features cold blowing air conditioning, Dakota digital style gauges and a double din Kenwood head unit with Bluetooth, AM/FM, and a backup camera. Power driver seat, power windows, locks, mirrors, tilt wheel, and cruise control add convenience. Under the hood is a Gen3 6.0 LQ9 V8 sourced from a later Cadillac Escalade, paired with a 4L60E four speed automatic. The setup includes a big intake, mild cam, and headers, with the GM engine control module relocated just under the factory ECM. The truck starts readily and drives well while the front braking is power disc with rear power drum, steering is power assisted, and the rear is built around a 10 bolt axle. Rolling stock includes 22 inch wheels with Bridgestone 275/50R22 tires from 2021 that give it a modern, planted look. Highlights: • Gen3 6.0 LQ9 V8 swap from a Cadillac Escalade • 4L60E four speed automatic transmission • Engine upgrades include a large intake, mild cam, and headers • 10 bolt rear axle • Front power disc brakes and rear power drum • 22 inch wheels with 275/50R22 Bridgestone tires • Full repaint with metallic flake • Aftermarket grille and taillights • Dakota style digital gauges • Kenwood double din with backup camera • Power driver seat This two-door Tahoe presents a rare opportunity to own a blend of classic SUV character with modern V8 muscle and contemporary styling cues. It will make a great driver or a solid starting point for further cosmetic finishing. Call today to arrange an appointment or to learn more.
