According to CarFax, "Accident reported, Vehicle ran off road, It hit a curb, Damage reported to: ___ Vehicle towed, Airbags did not deploy". The next entries show that the alignment was checked, but no record of a repair, just an oil change. Definitely not the first time a dealer has transposed two numbers (Looks like the 8 and 9) but I'd bet money that was a clerical error. All they did was to remove the triangular belt guide piece, which I replaced with a new part. All seat belts and both seatbelt presenters operate properly. Photo 35 shows drivers side. I pride myself on being honest. I have never seen a hardtop option or aftermarket version for a 124 cabriolet. As for the location, although the car is most recently from western New York state, it was kept in a dry garage in an
