Hi. I apologize if I misunderstood. It does take some effort/time to check for new main harness, but worth it. Remove the battery and track up the main harness to see if you can find the replacement tag. Hope it’s there. It is misleading to call replacement of the original wiring harness “preventative maintenance”. It is not. Every one of these original harnesses will fail. Every single one. It is simply a question of when. If this has not been replaced, it will fail for the buyer of this car, or for a subsequent owner. It’s actually fairly easy to see if main wiring harness has been replaced. A replacement harness will have a white tag on it with the date code. One hopes the car already has this replacement, and it would be worth you looking to see. It has notorious “bio-degradable” harness. Even if no symptoms are exhibited now, it will fail unless entirely replaced.
