As Hoarder noted, it could be a good value if it checks out. My best guess is that something was lost in translation between 1997 and current day with Carfax's coding. (The same way a mileage discrepancy on Carfax will sometimes show as "BRANDED"). My 2-cents, this looks like a fantastic driver and the color combination is rather hard to duplicate. Lots of value if you aren't looking to flip...April 29th, 2025 at 3:47pm ESTomarshareef (1) 1Hi, a few questions: 1. How is the hard top/soft top 2. Any oil leaks 2. How is it that Carfax reported salvage/rebuilt title twice and it's showing a clean title with the sale.April 29th, 2025 at 3:45pm EST$5,000 bid placed by @SIGINTApril 29th, 2025 at 2:07pm EST$4,750 bid placed by @LfuselierApril 29th, 2025 at 9:51am EST1980sMBguy (2) 2The prefacelift R129 is very underrated.
