This clean Pajero is a great example of the brand's approach to designing a practical, tough, and capable SUV. Exterior Overview Podium-worthy racing pedigree, industry-leading reliability, and top-tier tech defined Mitsubishi in the 90’s. This 1995 Pajero is a great example of the brand’s approach to designing a practical, tough, and capable SUV. Fresh off a comprehensive service, this turbodiesel 4×4 is offered with a mere 85k verified and documented miles on the clock. Finished in a classic Hanover Green (G31), this righteous ride is set off by 16″ Tokyo Bray alloys, an OEM bashbar, aftermarket skid plate, JAOS roof ladder, and stylish OEM rainguards. Aside from a few light dings, chips, and scuffs, the paint is in above-average shape overall. From enthusiasts to families on the go, this Japanese Classic has loads of appeal and can do just about everything. Perfect as a daily driver or fun off-road playtoy, this miraculous Mitsu is turnkey and ready to rock. Interior Overview Despite its midsize exterior dimensions, this Pajero is equipped with third-row seats. It has an abundance of head and legroom too, and pilots of all sizes can find the ideal driving position courtesy of a tilt-adjustable steering column and adjustable lumbar support. Power windows, power locks and power mirrors all function, making daily use more enjoyable. The center stack is close by and within arm’s reach. An upgraded touchscreen head unit with Bluetooth pumps in the tunes to supplement your commute. Above, a simple-to-use climate control system doles out piping hot heat and cold A/C. The gray herringbone upholstery is in good nick and lacks any major rips, stains, or tears. The rear jump seats safely stow against the D-pillar, and the middle bench can fold to accommodate larger cargo. The dashboard lacks any cracking or fading, and aside from a finicky power-folding mirror function, broken ashtray, and damaged center console latch, it’s hard to complain about the cabin. Mechanical Overview The sturdy body-on-frame underpinnings are a perfect match for the 4M40 powerplant. The 2.8L is fresh off an oil and filter service and churns to life promptly courtesy of a new 12v battery. A new fuel filter was installed immediately, as we do for all of our diesels, as was the engine air filter, and the 2.8L runs right as rain. It’s connected to an automatic gearbox that shifts predictably. A new differential input seal was replaced to ensure the power gets to the ground reliably. Mitsubishi’s Super Select 4WD system allows the driver to toggle between 2WD and 4WD at speeds of up to 62 MPH. A center locking differential and low range can be engaged if you plan to take this rig wheeling. It gets up to highway speeds without breaking a sweat and is a comfortable interstate cruiser. The suspension is soft and predictable and has been rehabbed with new front upper ball joints, as well as new front lower control arms, bushings, and lower ball joints. Freshly aligned, it tracks straight as an arrow, and the power steering is light and on point, thanks to new inner and outer tie rods. The wheels are wrapped in brand new all-season tires. They’re super comfortable, look good, and should last for tens of thousands of miles to come. Lastly, we swapped in new front brake pads to keep braking distances short. Turn key and ready to rock, this truck is a real winner and won’t break the bank. *California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
