Description
The 993 was the final air-cooled generation of the Porsche 911, produced from 1994 to 1998 and prized today as the last of its kind. This 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera Coupe is a rolling-chassis project finished in black over a black interior, and it is a factory 6-speed manual car offered without an engine or transmission. The seller has started it down the path of a 993 RS-style build, with items including OEM RS side skirts and RS-style interior trim already in place. An ideal candidate for restoration, this example is now being offered for auction in Florida.
The exterior is finished in black and equipped with a power-capable sunroof, aero-style mirrors, and 16" 993 wheels wrapped in Dunlop tires. A set of rare OEM 993 RS side skirts has been added, along with a basket-handle rear spoiler incorporating a brake light. An external engine kill switch is mounted near the driver’s-side windshield. As a project car, many items are noted by the seller as needing replacement, and the electronics and accessories are described as inoperable. Additional detail is provided in the photo gallery.
Inside, the car features an Alcantara-wrapped three-spoke MOMO steering wheel with a yellow 12 o’clock marker, RS-style door cards with red door pulls, and VDO instrumentation. Power-capable window and mirror switches are present, although the gauges, electronics, and accessories are not working. The seller notes that the car still needs seats and upholstery, a climate control system, a radio, and much more.
